“This week we were working with the Ministry of Public Health and Social Welfare to try to reach an agreement and get the Intermedia protocol approved,” said Gerardo Brunstein, medical chief of the Paraguayan Football Association.
He clarified that “from there to make a staggered return of the other categories of Paraguayan football.” In communication with the Cardinal Deportivo He said that they are “looking forward to football in the lower categories to return, because I understand that this year the schools are also returning (…) Futsal FIFA and beach soccer, we also hope it returns.”
Regarding the return of the fans to the stadiums, he mentioned that they have “already a protocol that we sent to the Ministry last year. The idea we have as APF is to prepare for 2021 and part of 2022 with covid ”.
“We propose a 10% audience, at the beginning, but it can be 5%, it can be 2%,” he clarified. Finally, regarding vaccines against covid-19, he stated that “if the vaccines are available to the private sector, we will try to acquire.” The First Division of Paraguayan soccer will start on Friday, February 5.
