Millonarios remains at the top of the BetPlay League table and continues to consolidate its homegrown players in the first team. Young people have become key players for Alberto Gamero and several of them increased their market value in recent months.
According to the latest update from Transfermarkt, a portal specialized in transfers, Stiven Vega, Breiner Paz, Andrés Llinás, Omar Bertel, Juan Camilo García and Diego Abadía were valued in Millionaires. The club reached a total value of 16.25 million euros and ranks as the sixth most expensive team in Colombia.
Stiven Vega was the player who increased his price the most. The midfielder, undisputed starter in the Ambassador, was valued at 500,000 euros and reached the highest cost of his career. In the last update its value was 350,000 euros. This year he has played every minute in the 4 games Millonarios has played in the BetPlay League.
For its part, Breiner Paz rose 125,000 euros and reached a market value of 600,000 euros. Omar Bertel was valued at 500,000 euros, Llinás y García at 300,000 euros and Diego Abadía at 250,000 euros.
Fredy Guarín and Fernando Uribe remain the most expensive players in Millonarios. Both have a market value of € 1.6M. Cristian Arango, valued at one million euros, completes the podium.
Next Saturday, February 13, Millonarios will visit La Equidad for matchday 6 of the BetPlay I-2021 League. For now those of Gamero are located in the fourth box of the table with 10 units.
