Coach Hernán Crespo denied the president of Defense and Justice on Monday afternoon, who had said that the former striker was leaving the club to sign with Sao Paulo.
With this version it was assumed that it was no longer an option for the ANFP, however, Crespo left everything up in the air.
“I have nothing, I did not sign with anyone. But it seems to me that when the phone rings constantly it is not fair that they take away even one percent of the focus of what Defense was, ”said ‘Valdanito’ in conversation with TyC Sports.
In addition, he took the opportunity to explain that the President of Defense and Justice, José Lemme, assured something that was not correct.
“We clarified it with José (Lemme), because he made a statement that is not correct. I did not sign with anyone or change Defense for another situation. Yes, it seemed correct to me to evaluate and release Defense because it was not healthy either for the leaders or for the players that this is constantly behind. I have spoken with Santos, with San Pablo and with the Chilean team. There is talk, but I decided absolutely nothing, “he clarified.
“It may be that tomorrow I will take a plane to sign somewhere, like calmly spending a month, two months, three months without this happening. I did not change Defense for anything, “he concluded.
Despite the coach’s sayings, in the aforementioned media they assure that Crespo is closer to Sao Paulo than to any other destination.
