Everton misses Allan, a Brazilian midfielder who arrived this season as one of Carlo Ancelotti’s star signings, alongside James Rodríguez and Abdoulaye Doucouré. The player suffered a hamstring injury that has kept him away from the courts; so while he is recovering he has taken the opportunity to spend more time with his family.
And as he returns to the practices of the ‘toffees’, Allan changed his haircut. It was not a ‘look’ scandalous, there were no crazy dyes or designs: he just shaved his head and went bald. Although it was not exactly the footballer who made the cut, Miguel, his son, did.
The gesture is very significant and of great value to Allan, his little Miguel and to Thais Valentim, the player’s wife and the child’s mother.
When he was 4 years old, Miguel was diagnosed with alopecia, an autoimmune disease that caused him to lose all of his hair. So, Allan decided to cut all his hair to look like his son and that he does not feel bad.
Thais Valentim posted the photo on Instagram with an emotional story. “When our Miguel was 4 years old, he was diagnosed with alopecia, an autoimmune disease in which the body attacks the hair follicle itself. Is seriously? It’s bad? Do you have treatment? He has problems? No. The only big problem with alopecia is aesthetics. Our Miguel is super healthy and rarely needs to take a medicine, thank goodness. Is genetic? Is it emotional? We don’t know either. Sometimes people ask us, ask us, but there are answers that even we don’t have. In fact, I decided to expose it to preserve it. He is a happy boy, he always laughs! ”, Says the publication.
“He takes everything well and sometimes makes fun of himself. But sometimes he ends up saddened by the questions and the looks. And I don’t want to see it like that anymore. Thank you love @ allanmarques91 for being the most amazing father in the world ”, says Thais next to the photo of father and son, with their new haircut.
