Shelters throughout Chile
In an interview given to the Desnivel site, the athlete and founder of Deporte Libre commented that One of the projects he was working on was to create a mountain refuge in the 16 regions of the country.
“We are traveling the highest mountains in each region and we want to build mountain shelters in these sixteen regions. We are doing important work with the local communities surrounding these mountains, to instill in them the mountain, enable and facilitate access to these mountains and build a refuge in each of them in order to increase the country’s mountain culture, “said the 34-year-old architect.
“Chile is a country of mountains, so we should be a country with a lot of mountain culture, but nowadays we are not. We want to show ourselves to the world and also to Chileans as a mountain country, so that we can receive the best mountaineers in the world, “he added.
