LThe boards of directors of Sandro Rosell and Josep Maria Bartomeu, who have directed the destinations of Barcelona between 2011 and 2020, have welcomed the international recognition received by the Barça club in recent days, both from the IFFHS (International Federation of Football History and Statistics) as well as from the magazine Forbes.
They have expressed this in a statement sent to EFE. At the end of last March, the Catalan club was named the best club in the world of the 2011-2020 decade, according to the IFFHS statistical ranking.
The Only, with 2,877 points, has been ahead of Real Madrid (2782 points) and Bavaria de Mnich (2,594.5). A score that is obtained from the victories and draws achieved in each competition. In addition, this first position is seconded by the 22 titles won by the Catalans during this period.
The second recognition is the one made by the American magazine Forbes, which has established a ranking according to which FC Barcelona leads the list of the twenty most valuable football clubs in the world for the first time, ousting Real Madrid to second place.
“The components of the directives chaired by Sandro Rosell and Josep Maria Bartomeu want to show their satisfaction for these two historical events, as well as our gratitude to all the employees, executives, technicians and players who, with their dedication, effort and teamwork, they have made them possible, “the statement said.
They also extend their gratitude “for their contribution to these two successes”, to the members of the Statutory, Social, and Sports Commissions, Trustees of the Foundation, the Management Board and the World Confederation of Peas.
“We want to take advantage of this fact to congratulate all the Barça fans and encourage them to continue giving all the support to the Club and its representatives,” the statement sent to EFE.
