Heavy snowfall puts several regions of Germany “in check”

A series of heavy snowfalls put in check this Sunday several regions of Germany, in which traffic on some highways was interrupted by the police, while many trains could not fulfill their itineraries.
Some cities such as Bielefeld have become almost impassable due to bad weather. The match on matchday 20 of the Bundesliga between Arminia Bielefeld and Werder Bremen was even canceled.

Between Hamburg and Hannover do not transit trains, according to the German train company DB, and between Hamburg and Berlin they transit with limitations.
Other cities have also seen the movement of trains affected such as Leipzig and Erfurt in the east of the country. In the west, traffic with the Netherlands was also interrupted.
The authorities warned that the storm has not stopped and the Minister of Transport, Andreas Scheuer, recommended that citizens stay in their homes this Monday.
