Alianza Lima informed its fans and public opinion that last Thursday it presented an appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport The TAS with the intention of staying in the first division of Peruvian football.

The blue and white team also specified that their claim will be treated under the modality of ‘accelerated process’ so that the resolution can be issued before the start of League 1, which would begin in the second week of March.

“On Thursday, February 4, we proceeded to present an appeal statement to the Sports Arbitration Court (TAS, for its acronym in French) regarding the decision of the Licensing Court of the Peruvian Football Federation, which was made public last week last ”, they began in their official statement.

“We have communicated this fact to the FPF and at the same time we have very respectfully requested that the appeal be processed through the accelerated process, with the aim of being as transparent as possible and of collaborating, all parties, so that the The process before the TAS can be resolved before the start of League 1 2021, which would contribute to give stability and clarity to the development of Peruvian football ”, they added.

Alianza Lima also added that, like the Peruvian Football Federation, it will enforce its rights in the TAS as happened with the Peruvian National Team in the last Qualifying Round. Finally, the blue and white board added that it will continue to focus on its sports projects for what will be the 2021 season.
