The Cleveland Cavaliers will be without Larry Nance Jr. for about a month after he fractured a finger in his left hand, an injury that will likely require surgery; informs ESPN.
While waiting to know the treatment and evolution of the power forward, there is talk of a period of loss that will move between four and six weeks, time that the Ohio franchise must be without one of its holders. Nance Jr. plays exactly 33.4 minutes per night to average 9.3 points, 6.8 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.9 steals (second best in the NBA in this statistic).
The Cavs know this important absence just when they accumulate three consecutive losses (one against Clippers and two against Bucks. Such a bad streak has left them out of the playoffs for the moment with a balance of 10-14. They will try to break such negative dynamic by beating the Suns in Phoenix.
Waiting for Love
The absence of Nance Jr. adds to that of Kevin Love. The veteran inside player was only able to play two games before having to stop due to a strain on his right leg. We have recently learned that individual basketball activities have begun; a new step in his recovery that however will not allow him to play at least until Cleveland closes its five-game tour of the Western Conference.
