After being in charge of the Chilean team for a little more than two years, Reinaldo Rueda began his adventure on his own land this Monday by commanding the first training of the microcycle of the coffee team with a view to the debut he will have against Brazil for the South American qualifiers.
As he did in our country, the coach summoned players from the local league to find alternatives when drawing up the final list to face Verdeamarela and Paraguay.
The local media and the players themselves highlighted Rueda’s work and appreciated the opportunity that he is giving to the players who are active in the tournament in that country.
“For those of us who are in the local league, it is very valuable that they take us into account. We know that those in Europe are representing us very well and have a long journey, but these microcycles serve for the teacher to have more knowledge of national football and in the future take us into account “, said Aldair Quintana, goalkeeper for Atlético Nacional de Medellín.
The goalkeeper appreciated the opportunity that Reinaldo Rueda is giving him from day one.
“It is positive for the players that we are in the local league, that makes us get closer and closer to the national team and helps to strengthen the league. That invites us to continue working harder and to know that they are watching us, and we can be here in the future ”, he closed.

Aldair, 26, referred to the experienced Naples goalkeeper and one of the captains of the tricolor: “David Ospina has been number one for many years and it is important to have that experience that he has had since he was young, in my case I did not have that opportunity for youth teams, but you gain things from day to day, and with the level you currently have.
