At the Azteca stadium, América beat Puebla 1-0 with a goal from Colombian Roger Martínez.

At minute 66, Martínez took the ball on the edge of the area, advanced a few meters and defined the 1-0 for América with a low and crossed shot that went between the goalkeeper’s legs.

With this result, the ‘Eagles’ of the America of Argentine technical director Santiago Solari reached 10 points and took the lead in the classification.

Argentine coach Nicolás Larcamón’s ‘La Franja’ of Puebla won five units.

At the BBVA stadium, the ‘Rayados’ of Monterrey beat the Pumas of the National Autonomous University of Mexico 1-0.

The minute 31 was played when the Ivorian Ake Loba scored the 1-0 for the ‘Rayados’ with a point-blank shot inside the small area.

Thus, Monterrey reached 10 points – with one game pending – and the university cats were left with five units.

At the Jalisco stadium, the ‘Zorros’ del Atlas rescued the 1-1 draw against the ‘Guerreros’ del Santos in compensation time.
