Great performance and triple-double for the King, featured in the 114-93 victory. On the visit side, the concern goes to Facundo Campazzo, who was barely able to play before retiring with a knee pain.

Match of two halves at the Staples Center. The Nuggets they dominated the first half with a great defensive work that allowed them to go to the break in front of Frank Vogel’s by 58-46. Nevertheless, the second half was completely owned by the Lakers, winning the third quarter by 37-17 and the fourth period by 31-18, to end up with a comfortable 114-93 victory. Dominant performance of the Angelenos and specifically LeBron James.

James finished the night with a huge triple-double, product of 27 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists, with a 12-19 from the court in 35 minutes. His second half was a marvel, adding 14 goals and above all, 8 assists. The one from Akron took the game in a fist and took it at his own pace, dealing a fatal blow to the visitor’s expectations.
The task of Dennis Schroder, Talen Horton-Tucker and Montrezl Harrell was also decisive in the second half, scoring 12, 12 and 11 points respectively during that stretch. Schroder was the winner’s second leading scorer with 21 points., a 7-9 on the court and good defensive effort deeds, while THT was a major shock from the bench, scoring 17 points (tied for his career high) in 22 minutes.
What we didn’t have much of was the expected duel between Nikola Jokic and Anthony Davis. The Serbian played his worst game of the season and finished with just 13 points and 6 assists in 35 minutes, throwing a 6-16 from the court. Very good defense of the Los Angeles towers, to put a brake on that MVP level steamroller that had been the Joker level. AD? Only 13 points and 9 rebounds, taking 8 shots in 33 minutes.
The best of the Nuggets was Jamal Murray with 20 points, while Monte Morris had 16 points from the second unit.
The bad news in Malone’s went through Facundo Campazzo. The Argentine entered the second quarter but had to be quickly replaced, from what we knew it was a pain in his right knee. The former Real Madrid no longer entered the game again and this was commented by his press team. To wait.
On-the-go medical report: Facu has a discomfort in his knee that arose during the warm-up. Tomorrow there will surely be a resonance in Sacramento. Initially there would be no ligament injury.

The first unknown we discover is the replacement of Gary Harris in the starting lineup: JaMychal Green, who also answers another question from the previous game, being LeBron James’ primary defender. The Nuggets open the game better and take the lead quickly, with good moments from Nikola Jokic against Marc Gasol and a succession of 3-pointers from Jamal Murray, Will Barton and Green himself.
However, the Lakers are quick to respond hand in hand with a LeBron James (9 points) that reaches the rim without problems, to then add a triple by Talen Horton-Tucker recently entered the court, equalizing the score.

Murray’s great level in the first quarter, reaching 8 points and 3 assists. In addition Monte Morris enters with 4 fast points and Denver takes the first advantage after 12 minutes: 30-27. Everything very even.

Good passage from Denver’s second unit, with the first minutes of Facundo Campazzo, stretching the lead to five (40-35). The Nuggets try to make up for the height difference with a 2-3 zone defense, which the Lakers solve with some ease. Nevertheless, the Nuggets are comfortable in attack and for now they keep the lead.

A bad one for Denver: Right knee pain for Campazzo and his return is questionable.
Facundo Campazzo (right knee soreness) is questionable to return tonight.

With a couple of offensive rebound conversions from Green and Jokic, the Nuggets lead at halftime 58-46. The dominance of the boards is one of the main arguments Denver is leading: they win that battle 34-20, including a 10-3 in attack rebounds.

Some actions by Anthony Davis appear on both sides, after being completely off in the first half (4 points). Plus LeBron he continues to hurt with his attacks towards the rim and some Lakers with greater defensive intensity begin to close the gap: 64-59 for the visit. Malone minute.

The Nuggets offense falls and the locals completely get into the game, even taking the lead. Kuzma pump, Harrell and Horton-Tucker cons to cap off a tremendous 15-0 streak. Deadly blast from Vogel’s men to enter the final 12 minutes ahead 83-75. 37-17 split for the Lakers in the third!

LeBron owns the game at the moment, with great assists and conversions for Los Angeles to escape by 14: 96-82. Denver misses a better version of Jokic, who has yet to weigh in in the game, well controlled by the homeowner’s interiors. Malone minute who sees how the game begins to get out of hand.

There was no room for reaction from the visit: LeBron’s spectacular level and clear victory of the Lakers by 114-93, putting a brake on the good moment that the Nuggets were bringing.
