Cerro Largo president Ernesto Dehl spoke about the possibility that Uruguayan forward Enzo Borges could play this season at Alianza Lima. The head of the Uruguayan club also referred to the debt that the University people still have for the passing of Jonathan Dos Santos.
“Today we were having lunch with the club’s coach, Danielo Núñez, and he told me about the possibility of Enzo Borges going to Alianza Lima. For now, Enzo (Borges) has one more season of contract with us. Without a doubt he is someone who He has given us a lot and we would look for a way for him to improve on the economic and sporting issues. A possible agreement would have to be given from club to club, “Dehl said in ‘The Voices of Soccer’.
Then, the head of the Uruguayan club added that “what from Enzo Borges to Alianza Lima depends on his will. We are going to find all the avenues for him to try to solve it, without putting obstacles so that he can improve and have a great future.”
On the other hand, Dehl also referred to the debt that the University club still has for Jonathan Dos Santos. “The commitments are to honor them and I think that University’s behavior has not been exemplary. I feel that they have disrespected us.”
Finally, he finished by saying that “there is a debt with the University for Jonathan Dos Santos and his leaders agreed to honor his word, but so far they have not done so. We have already gone to our lawyers for the claim against the CAS.”
