With sheer claw and effort, Juan Toscano Anderson, the player with Mexican descent in the NBA, began to play more minutes in the Golden State Warriors and is one of the fixed in the starting lineup next to Stephen Curry y Draymond Green.
So far this 2020-21 NBA season, Toscano has already accumulated eleven games, five as a starter, for an average of 20.6 minutes per match. With personal records broken in terms of time played and points scored, Juan earned the trust of coach Steve Kerr.
Toscano Anderson averages 5.6 points, 2 assists, 4.7 rebounds per game and exceptional energy that even Curry praised: “He has proven that he is an NBA player and he does it in an excellent way ”.
Toscano’s good level has convinced Kerr that the player of Mexican descent is worthy of his first major NBA contract. As reported by Connor Letourneau of the San Francisco Chronicle, the Warriors coach already knows what to say to the leadership if they ask him about moving the guard to a guaranteed spot on the roster.
Juan Toscano Anderson’s contract at Golden State Warriors
At the start of the 2020-21 season, Golden State Warriors gave him a two way contract, I could play in the NBA G League, to Juan Toscano Anderson allowing him to play 50 of the 72 games of the campaign. For that reason, Steve Kerr is “totally agree” that the Mexican player has a guaranteed contract.
Kerr said that, if the front office asked him about moving Toscano-Anderson into a guaranteed roster spot, he’d be “all for it.” Toscano-Anderson can only play 50 of a possible 72 games because of his 2-way deal. A guaranteed contract would allow him to play every game.
