“Obras gave me everything” | Total Basketball | Football24 News English

Josefina Zeballos will travel in the next few hours to the Argentine Republic to join Obras Sanitarias for the League that will begin on February 13.

“I return with the expectation of being able to be with all my colleagues and the coaching staff again. I really want to be there, to make myself available to the team, to be able to train and for the championship to begin “, the native of Bohemios began saying with the dilemma of when will the first participation with the establishment be taking into account the Argentine protocols for the current situation.

Zeballos will once again be in the ranks of the tachero club and in his first appearance he was impressed by everything he experienced: “I was left with a very good image. Obras is a club that gave me everything from the first moment and continues to give me. I loved the club, its atmosphere, I have a very good relationship with all my colleagues and I am very happy to be in the team of a club like Obras Sanitarias ”.

This time he will not have another compatriot in the team and that automatically becomes another challenge to overcome: “This time I have to be alone. When I went for the first time, I came with Emi (Larre Borges) and at first it was difficult for me to adapt to being away from my family, it was a new club, a new city, but this opportunity that I am alone is not going to affect me at all. Luckily they received me very well at the club, I have already made links and I feel good there. I know my personal goals perfectly and I am going to meet them, and then continue to set goals and go after them ”.

The Argentine League is classified as one of the best in the American continent and in our competition we have been able to observe several protagonists who will say present in the future season on the neighboring shore: “I really like the league because it has very good players with level and experience. In past years I watched games and I really liked them. They are very intense and you play basketball very well. Those who came to our League as foreigners are all of a very good level. They all came to bring a lot of experience. In my case, I was lucky to play and share a squad with Celia Fiorotto and the truth was that it was incredible. He taught me a lot on and off the court ”.

Zeballos is one of the many export talents that the new breed of national players has had. Regarding this good moment in the Uruguayan future, he affirms: “It makes me very happy for all of them. There are more and more Uruguayans who go abroad to play and it’s great. Hopefully in a few years there will be many who will be enjoying and playing outside ”.

The Sanitary Works team will make its debut in the competition against Tomás de Rocamora next Saturday at 7:00 p.m. on the stage of the tachero.
